Intervention

Oasis Intervention Services
Alcohol, Drugs and other behavioral problems can destroy families and end careers. Family members, employees, colleagues and company executives can find themselves trapped by such disorders. Their denial of the problem and ambivalence about treatment blurs their reality. Intervention is the process of presenting reality to such individuals in a receivable way. It is an invitation -- not a confrontation -- to accept help.

For families who believe an intervention will be necessary in order to get a loved one into treatment, arrangements can be made to provide that service directly or a referral will be made to an intervention specialist in the desired geographic area. An intervention specialist is available through the Oasis to discuss this option. If an intervention is to be facilitated by the Oasis staff, the interventionist will talk to each person involved in the intervention, schedule a time and place for the intervention and make arrangements for the patient to be admitted to treatment immediately following the intervention.
